China Nonferrous Metals Association Recycling Association released the third batch of 66 certified importers of copper and aluminum scrap

The Recycling Branch of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association announced on its official website the list of the third batch of companies that have been certified as domestic consignees of recycled copper and aluminum raw materials. These enterprises are eligible to import imported scrap copper and aluminum scrap.

Due to environmental considerations, China will ban the import of solid waste from 2021. However, considering the high price of base metals and importing scrap metal can help reduce foreign raw materials, China has issued two similar lists, opening a hole in the scrap metal trade.

The third batch of certified importers totaled 66, most of which came from major foreign trade provinces such as Zhejiang and Guangdong.

In addition, affected by the foreign epidemic situation, third parties are carrying out on-site inspections of foreign supplies. The qualification list of the third batch of foreign suppliers will be released later.
